Compared to its season premiere a year ago, the show was down by 24% in the demo (vs a 4.1 rating) and down by 17% in viewers (vs 14.14 million).
Reference point: The seventh season averaged a 3.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 12.63 million viewers.
