Synopsis:

The team must profile a self-confessed serial killer who turns himself in, but sends them on a massive manhunt to find his latest victims before it is too late..

Set in:

Quantico, VA and Chester, VA

Best Moments Between Characters:

When Kevin visited Garcia in her office and Hotch intruded with work regarding the team's case.

The entire Rothschild-interrogation scene, with Rothschild mocking Rossi.
When Reid figures out how the victims were taken and how he could use the logarithmic spiral to find Kaylee Robinson and the four kids, and he then rips the pendant from Rothschild's neck and says "I know how to find them."
When Rossi defeats Rothschild at the end.

Best Lines:

Hotch [after telling a slightly nervous Kevin that he could visit Garcia when she wasn't busy]: "Kevin, she's busy now."

Reid [after hearing that Professor Rothschild wants to see him] : "I never have any normal fans."
Reid: (During Rossi's and Reid's lecture in a college) I'm also completing an additional B.A. in philosophy, which, uh, reminds me I have a joke. How many existentialists does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Rossi:(whispers) Don't. Reid: (no audio) Its okay. (audio) Two, one to change the lightbulb, and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness. (laughs) (students stare at him blankly) Umm, an existentialist would- Rossi: (cutting Reid off) Okay, before he does his quatum physics knock-knock jokes... (students laugh) Do we have any questions about oppurtunities in the FBI?

Henry: "Where's Dr. Reid?" Rossi: "Busy." Henry: "You have something going on more important than me?"Rossi: "My dry cleaning is more important than you."

The turning point in the investigation:

The spiral of a pendant that Rothschild has been wearing around his neck the entire time intertwined with the Fibonacci sequence on the map to point out where the hostages were located. Rothschild also revealed his true intentions once the team - sans Rossi and Garcia - were at the location, citing that it was generally payback since Rossi had taken his family from him (imprisoned his brother - a serial killer - which in turn caused his engagement to break). Secretly, he had booby-trapped the house to release acid upon entrance to the basement, but Rossi figured it out beforehand and tricked Rothschild into the full confession while Rossi played along and Garcia recorded the entire thing.

Whodunit?

Henry Grace, the brother of William Grace - a killer that Rossi had sent to jail in the past. After Rossi did so, Henry's fiancee gave him back her engagement ring, citing that she "could not face the brother of a serial killer." This broke him since he had felt that he had also received a "serial killing gene" like his brother. Soon thereafter, Henry developed a hatred of all humans, and began to kill dark-haired women. His ultimate goal however, was to take away Rossi's "family" like Rossi had done to him.
